DECOMET® UV - MIRROR EFFECTS from Light to Dark (copy 1)

To provide customers with enhanced design flexibility, SCHLENK is expanding the portfolio with new dark Decomet® UV grades:

• Decomet® UV 3018 07/15 G0 – chrome-like shade
• Decomet® UV 4018 12/15 G0 – superior dark, chrome-like shade

Based on the well-established Decomet® Vacuum Metallized Pigment (VMP) technology, the new Decomet® UV products provide highly reflective dark chrome effects and outstanding Distinctness of Image (DOI).

As an attractive alternative to cold foil transfers and hot foil stamping, Decomet® UV opens up unlimited design possibilities for tobacco, cosmetics, packaging and label applications. The products are suitable for a wide range of substrates, including coated paper, paperboard, foils and metal.

The 100% UV delivery form ensures excellent compatibility with common radiation curable systems and offers high formulation flexibility for stable one-component printing inks and coatings. In addition, the high reactivity of the Decomet® UV preparation enables a fast and efficient curing performance.

Decomet® UV products are based on carefully selected raw materials in compliance with respective legal and regulatory requirements for indirect food contact applications. This makes Decomet® UV suitable for the development of low‑migration inks and other sensitive applications.
